Vivian Chow, born on November 10, 1967 in Hong Kong, China, is a Hong Kong singer, actress, and host. She graduated from St. Stephen's Girls' College.
In 1985, she participated in the New Talent Singing Awards. In 1986, she joined the "Radio Hong Kong Amateur DJ Contest" and won second place. In 1988, she was nominated for the Best New Performer at the 8th Hong Kong Film Awards for the romantic comedy film "Three of a Kind". In the same year, she released her debut self-titled EP "Vivian", which achieved "Gold Record" sales. In January 1989, she received the Outstanding New Artist Award at the 11th Radio Hong Kong Top 10 Gold Songs Awards.
In 1990, she starred in her first TV drama "Wu Jin Blood Sword" and released her first music album "Vivian", which achieved platinum sales. In 1992, she starred in the fashion business drama "The Great Era". In the same year, the TV drama "The Return of Wong Fei Hung" was released. In 1993, she received the NHK Popular Foreign Female Singer Award in Japan and released the Cantonese album "Favorites". In 1995, she released the Cantonese album "More Love". In 1997, she announced her retirement from the entertainment industry.
In 2005, she wrote the pet growth diary "My Cat Son Vivian Chow". In 2006, she held a comeback concert - "Vivian Chow Back For Love Concert". In 2010, she starred in the romance film "Time for Rice". On March 28, 2011, she released the EP album "Bonsai". In 2012, she held the "Journey of Love World Tour Concert" at the Macau GIMC Theatre. In 2018, she held the "Ten Thousand Days of Love, Forever Young - Vivian Chow 30th Anniversary Concert" at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
