角色描述：

Lt. C. Carwood Lipton, a soldier and outstanding sergeant who grew up in Virginia, was a respected soldier leader in Easy Company. Born on January 30, 1920, in Huntington, West Virginia, Lipton lost his father at a young age and was inspired to join the military by an article in "The Life" magazine about paratroopers. He served in Easy Company from its inception and was promoted to Second Lieutenant on February 16, 1945, during his time in the battlefield. Lipton was wounded twice in combat, both times by fragments of mortar shells. Remarkably, one of the shell fragments remained lodged in the back of his neck for 34 years. Lipton received commendations such as the Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart. After the war, three sergeants from Easy Company became wealthy individuals, and Lipton was one of them. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and became a manager in a glass industry company. His factory had branches worldwide, and he enjoyed a comfortable life in North Carolina. Sadly, he passed away on December 16, 2001, shortly after the release of the TV series.
