角色描述：

Lt. C. Carwood Lipton is a distinguished military sergeant who grew up from an ordinary soldier to a highly respected soldier leader in Easy Company. He was born on January 30, 1920, in Huntington, West Virginia. He lost his father at a young age and was inspired to join the military after reading a report about paratroopers in The Life magazine. Lipton has served in Easy Company since its formation and was promoted to Second Lieutenant on February 16, 1945, during his service in the battlefield. He was wounded twice in combat, both times by fragments of mortar shells. Remarkably, one fragment remained lodged in the back of his neck for 34 years. Lipton has received accolades such as the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart for his bravery and valor.
